ROCHESTER, N.Y. - RIT junior defensewoman Kyla Bear was named the College Hockey America Defenseman of the Week announced Monday afternoon.

Bear had three assists, blocked six shots and was a combined +4 to help lead RIT to a 1-1-0 record. Bear had two assists and blocked four shots in the Tigers 6-3 loss to Lindenwood, Friday and had an assist and blocked three shots in RIT's 6-2 win, Saturday.

RIT returns to action on Friday (Nov. 3) against Mercyhurst at 6:00 p.m.
