PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The RIT men's track & field team finished 29th out of 39 teams at the 2024 Atlantic Region Indoor Championships, hosted by Nazareth.
Rowan took the team title with 100 points, followed by Geneseo (54) and Rochester (50) in the top-three. RIT scored seven points.
Saturday Highlights:
- Junior Josh Auler placed eighth in the weight throw with a distance of 16.32m, followed by senior Aidan Hughes in 12th (16.12m) and sophomore Erik Stephany in 15th (15.38m)
- First-year Erich Brown earned eighth place in the high jump with a height of 1.92m
- Junior Max Stein finished ninth in the 400, clocking a time of 50.42, while first-year Jack DeFeo placed 12th (50.57)
Friday Highlights:
- The relay team of junior Max Stein, sophomore Michael Sardo, junior Trenton Goyette and first-year Jack DeFeo, placed fourth in the 4x400 with a time of 3:21.48
- Junior Noah Koeng finished 14th in the pole vault with a height of 4.31m, followed by senior Aidan Sheahan in 15th (4.30m)
