ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT Women's Basketball finished among the nation's elite academic teams last season as the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) announced its 2024-25 Academic Top 25 Honor Rolls, Tuesday.
RIT ranked 24th out of over 430 NCAA Division III women's basketball programs with a 3.726 cumulative GPA this past academic year.
The WBCA Academic Top 25 recognizes college women's basketball teams across the nation in their respective divisions that carry the highest combined grade point averages inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season.
First-year head coach Melissa Kuberka led the Tigers to a 15-12 record last season, including an appearance in the semifinals of the Liberty League Tournament for the first time since 2018-19.
