ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT senior wrestler Michael Glynn III was named a 2025 At-Large First Team Academic All-American, as selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC).
Glynn capped off his wrestling career with his second-consecutive All-American honor following an 8th-place finish at 149 pounds during the NCAA Division III Championships. He finished the season with a 26-5 record (10-0 in dual meets) for a 105-35 career mark to become only the ninth Tiger in program history to eclipse the 100-win plateau.
The 2025 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Wrestling Scholar-Athlete of the Year and four-time National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Scholar All-American, Glynn graduated in May with a 4.0 in mechanical engineering. Glynn was a Third Team At-Large Academic All-American in 2024.
The CSC Academic All-American program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field of competition and in the classroom, while the at-large division recognizes individuals from sports not part of their own standalone division within the program. To be considered, nominees had to have achieved at least a sophomore standing and a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average while playing a prominent role on the field of competition.
