Join us for this annual RIT tradition welcoming incoming women and nonbinary students. Participants will receive a commemorative lantern to light their route through campus. This event will begin in the Davis Room (SAU 1300) with a reception to follow in the University Gallery (Booth Hall 2700). All RIT students, faculty, and staff are welcome!

The third installment of RIT Shorts — a biannual spotlight of films made by RIT School of Film and Animation students that airs on WXXI-TV in Rochester — is set to broadcast across three dates in late August. The featured films for this edition are by Deanna Moorehead ’25 MFA, Vinh Nguyen ’25 MFA, and Kenneth Reynolds ’25.

Join us at the University Gallery for our Creative Wellness Series, presented by The Adorned Studios. In this quick one-hour class participants will learn the secrets to creating symmetrical earrings using simple hand tools and surface techniques. Perfect for beginners, this hands-on experience will build confidence and comfort with the use hand tools. The class will help create a foundation for everyone to continue creating their own pieces. Attendees will use a variety of pliers, files, mallets, and hammers to create a beautiful pair of hoops.

Welcome Back Bonanza is Alpha Phi Alpha's historic welcome back event catered to incoming freshmen at RIT. Featuring tabling of ALANA organizations, we aim to bring a fun and enjoyable welcome for everyone!

Join us in the Allen Chapel for Mass at 9:15 a.m. on Sundays. There will also be a "coffee hour" after mass in the Vestibule area outside of the chapel. 

Join the faculty of the hip hop, ballet, and contemporary dance collective for our 25-26 auditions. Auditions for all styles will be held August 31 from 10-12:30 in the SHED Dance studio. Dancers will explore all four styles during the audition but will be able to select their preferred styles before accepting a casting offer.

"Where do we go on Sunday at 5 p.m.?" We go to Mass.

Looking for a fun and effective way to improve your fitness? HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) & Core is a powerful, total-body workout that will keep your heart pumping. This cardio and strength focused workout involves alternating between brief, intense bursts of exercise followed by recovery periods. This class will incorporate moves that target the upper body, lower body and core to work on strength, endurance and stability. All fitness levels are welcome to join!

College is a big transition. Adjusting to new classes, meeting new people, and managing different expectations can feel overwhelming.
