ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT fifth-year rower Maggie Carey was named a Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Second Team All-American.
To qualify for All-American a student-athlete must have participated in at least 75% of races during the current season and the student-athlete must have rowed at least 75% of the season's races in 1v8+. The student-athlete has have been nominated by their home institution and selected by the committee.
A first-team All-Liberty League selection, Carey was part of the Tigers Varisty-8 boat the finished second at the 2024 Liberty League Championships, clocking a time of 7:11.15 in the finals.
