ROAR Day 2024
Mark your calendar for the ultimate showcase of RIT spirit and dedication—ROAR Day! This extraordinary effort will help fuel the future of RIT and make more inspirational experiences possible for our students.
ROAR Day is a 1,829-minute celebration of RIT pride and community starting, Thursday, October 31 at noon Eastern. Any gift made by 6:29 p.m. Eastern on Friday, November 1, will count towards our ROAR Day goal of 2,024 donors.
Annual donor support helps RIT attract and retain the best student-athletes while meeting the growing demands of the intercollegiate athletic program. Gifts help fund post-game meals for teams, training equipment for the Tiger Power Den, training apparel for all athletes, team travel, athletic training services, and facility enhancements.
RIT's intercollegiate athletic programs play an essential role in teaching students to conduct themselves with honesty and integrity, make sacrifices, strive for excellence and persevere through adversity while developing a commitment to teamwork and service to the community. Each year, 675 student-athletes participate on 24 varsity athletic teams, over 2,300 students participate in intramurals, and thousands attend sporting events and wellness classes.
When you make your donation online, be sure to go under "Designation" and, in the "Select A Designation" drop down menu, choose "RIT Athletics." From there, select "Athletics General Fund" or any of our teams you'd like to support directly.
