ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT men's and women's track & field teams were named 2023 NCAA Division III All-Academic by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) while senior Tyler Hulse and sophomore Emily DiMarco were tabbed All-Academic Athletes.

Both teams were honored for compiling better than a 3.1 cumulative team grade point average. The women finished the year with a 3.69 GPA, while the men compiled a 3.46 GPA. (See full criteria for team eligibility).

Hulse and DiMarco were also recognized for maintaining at least a 3.30 cumulative while ranking among the top-50 nationally in their respective events at the end of either the indoor or outdoor season.

Hulse (Visual Media) finished an All-American seventh in the high jump at the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships last March with a season-best 6' 7.75"/1.94m performance. The two-time All-American also finished runner-up in the high jump at the Atlantic Region Indoor Championships and finished as a four-time Liberty League Champion after winning the high jump during the last two indoor and outdoor championship meets.

DiMarco finished the season ranked second in the region and 32nd nationally in the discus. The interior design major bettered her program record by nearly three feet with a winning 43.06m/141' 3" mark during the University of Rochester Invitational (Apr. 22). She also finished fifth in the event at the Atlantic Region Outdoor Championships and sixth at the Liberty League Outdoor Championships.
