2025-26 Women's Hockey Schedule released

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT Women's Hockey team announced the 2025-26 schedule, Wednesday. The Tigers currently have 32 total contests scheduled for the coming season, including 14 dates at the Gene Polisseni Center.
 
"We are excited to attack the 2025-26 season," said sixth-year Bruce B. Bates Women's Hockey Coach Celeste Brown. "We are set to face some strong out-of-conference opponents, including two teams who made the NCAA tournament last year. We also look forward to a new Hockey East opponent in Northeastern who has had an incredibly strong team in recent years. We are counting down the days until puck drop and having our fans join us--Go TIGERS!
 
RIT is currently slated to start the season with a home series opposite Post (Sept. 26-27). After a two games at Northeastern (Oct. 3-4), the Tigers will open Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) play with two games at Robert Morris (Oct. 10-11).
 
After returning home for two games with St. Lawrence (Oct. 16-17), RIT will play a home-and-home series with AHA-rival Syracuse (Oct. 24-25) as well as two conference games against visiting Lindenwood (Oct. 31-Nov. 1).
 
The Tigers will play back-to-back road doubleheaders at Colgate (Nov. 7-8) and AHA-foe Mercyhurst (Nov. 14-15) before kicking off a string of three-straight home conference doubleheaders against Penn State (Nov. 21-22), Robert Morris (Nov. 28-29) and Delaware (Dec. 5-6) to close the first semester.
 
Following a month holiday layoff, RIT will kick off the New Year with a doubleheader at Delaware (Jan. 8-9), before hosting Mercyhurst (Jan. 16-17). The Tigers will play five of its final six games on the road to close the regular season, including two at Lindenwood (Jan. 30-31), a home-and-home with Syracuse (Feb. 6-7) and two at Penn State (Feb. 13-14).
 
All seven AHA teams make the conference postseason tournament, slated to start with a first-round game on Feb. 19, followed by the quarterfinals (Feb. 21), the best-of-three semifinals (Feb. 27-Mar. 1) and the championship game (Mar. 7). The winner earns an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
