Women's Soccer gets past Endicott, 2–1
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT women's soccer team earned its first win of the season with a 2–1 victory over Endicott on Saturday afternoon at Tiger Stadium.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the 35th minute, sophomore midfielder Emma Watson opened the scoring for the Tigers with her first goal of the season, finishing a setup from sophomore Amerie Mills.
- Endicott responded just three minutes later when Olivia Pardo found the back of the net to level the contest at 1–1.
- With the game tied in the second half, senior forward Elena Onodera delivered the game-winner with an unassisted shot from 20 yards in front of the goal.
GAME NOTES
- RIT improves to 1-0-1 on the season, while Endicott falls to 0-2-0.
- The Tigers outshot the Gulls 9-to-7, including seven shots on goal.
- Senior goalkeeper Emily Sanchez made two saves in the win.
- The goal from Onodera was the forward's fourth career game-winner.

RIT returns to action next weekend with two neutral-site games in Wheaton, Ill. against Trine (Sep. 5) and Wisconsin-Eau Claire (Sep. 6).
