Men's Soccer falls 1-0 to Clarkson
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT men's soccer team lost 1-0 to Clarkson in the Tigers Liberty League opener, Saturday.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Clarkson's Josh Baraka scored in the 14th minute to give the Golden Knights the lead.
- Sophomore forward Idriss Diallo had a chance in the tenth minute. He redirected a shot on target that Clarkson keeper, Carter Kladstrup turned aside.
- Senior midfielder Gabriel Zaninetti fired a header wide from inside Clarkson's penalty box in the 53rd minute.
- Diallo had his shot on net saved in the 55th minute and junior defender Mauricio Gonzalez saw his header in the 59th minute just miss the cross bar.
GAME NOTES:
- RIT outshot Clarkson, 9-6.
- The Tigers had two corner kicks to one for the Golden Knights.

RIT returns to action on Saturday (Sept. 20) against Alfred State at 1:00 p.m.

- Women's Soccer surges past Wooster, 4-0ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT women's soccer team earned a dominant 4-0 victory over visiting Wooster, Saturday. After a scoreless first half, the Tigers erupted for four goals in the second half to remain unbeaten on the season.
- Women's Soccer ties St. John Fisher, 1-1ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT women's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw against St. John Fisher on Tuesday evening at Tiger Stadium. The Tigers struck early in the first half, but the visiting Cardinals responded shortly after halftime to earn the tie.
- Men's Soccer shuts out St. John Fisher, 3-0ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT sophomore forward Idriss Diallo tallied a career-best five points and two goals to lead the Tigers to a 3-0 win over St. John Fisher, Wednesday.
