COACH THOMAS SAID
"It was one of those games where I thought we were playing well, but the score wasn't in your favor. We had to start chasing the scoreboard, which is never an easy game to play.
"I thought our breakouts were tremendous and our play through neutral ice was great. I thought our line rush for was great and we generated a lot of chances. At the end of the day, their goaltender was tough to beat and they blocked a lot of shots. We generated a lot of chances, but needed to create more be more gritty around the net. We weren't there enough.
"I think there are some things we can grab on to that we can improve on, but for me, I'm excited for us because we are building. I could care less that we are 0-2 because we got better this weekend."
