ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT women's tennis team defeated Geneseo 5-2 in non-conference action, Wednesday.
DOUBLES:
- Junior Kira Kronenberg and sophomore Emily Greb defeated Samantha Rava and Rachel Molloy, 6-1 at first doubles.
- Sophomore Melanie Saborio and first year Amulya Settyvari beat Talia Wutz and Ashleigh Fredriksen, 6-2 at third doubles to secure the doubles point for RIT.
SINGLES:
- Greb beat Natalie Pipes, 6-2, 6-2 at first doubles and Kira Kronenberg was a 6-2, 6-0 winner over Rava at second singles.
- Saborio beat Molloy, 6-2, 6-0 at third singles and senior Anika Galkiewicz beat Joann Catalano in three sets.
