Men's Cross Country finishes seventh at Harry F. Anderson Invitational

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT first-year Turner Gill finished in 30th out of 175 runners leading the men's cross country team to seventh place out of 14 teams at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational, Saturday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Gill finished the eight-kilometer course in 26:44.8, while first-year Steven McChesney finished 51st with a time of 27:41.6
- Senior Evan Fisher-Perez finished in 55th (27:45.3), first-year Jackson Burger finished in 60th (27:58.2) and first-year Zachary Sowers finished in 68th (28:10.7)
- First-year Samuel Adamson finished in 74th (28:22.3) and first-year Branden McColm finished in 105th (29:16.7)
- Geneseo won the team title with 20 points followed by Daemen (79), Cortland (84), Nazareth (114) and St. Clair County CC (140) in the top-five. RIT finished with 167 points.

RIT will run in the Paul Short Run, hosted by Lehigh next Saturday (Sept. 30) at 12:00 p.m.
