ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT junior Josh Harkless was named the 2025 SUNYAC Co-Wrestler of the Year announced by the league, Thursday.
Harkless posted a 32-1 record, including an 11-0 record in dual matches. He finished third at the NCAA Division III Championships to earn All-American honors, beating the No. 1, No. 2, No. 5 and No. 6 seeds in route to the third-place finish. Harkless won the title at the NCAA Region 2 Championships and was the 285 lb. champion at the SUNYAC Championships.
A two-time SUNYAC Wrestler of the week, Harkless led RIT with 22 wins via pinfall. He took home first place at the Ned McGinley Invitational and the RIT Invitational. The mechanical engineering major was a NWCA Scholar All-American and is a two-time All-American.
