Men's Tennis holds off Skidmore, 4-3
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT first year Yu Tanimoto won the deciding match to lead the Tigers to a 4-3 win over Skidmore, Sunday. It is RIT's first win over Skidmore who came into the match ranked No. 37 nationally.
DOUBLES:
- Seniors Grahith Movva and Christian Berko defeated Yuval Goodman and Griffin Biernat 7-6 at first doubles.
- Junior Gabriel Escobar and sophomore Alec Turcotte beat Nika Mori and Fltecher King 7-6 at second doubles.
- Tanimoto and first year Alexander Sinclair defeated Harrison Gradin and Kyle Lundberg 6-3 at third doubles.
SINGLES:
- Turcotte took down King 6-2, 6-4 at third singles and Sinclair was a 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 winner over Lundberg at fifth singles.
- Tanimoto clinched the match with a 6-4, 5-7, 6-4 win over Goodman at first singles.
