Men's Soccer shuts out Houghton, 3-0
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT senior forward Selorm Dake scored a goal and added an assist to lead the Tigers to a 3-0 win over Houghton, Wednesday.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Dake scored in the 28th minute to give RIT the lead. Sophomore defender Adrian Sobczak sent a ball in from the wing that Dake headed into the net for his first goal of the season.
- Junior defender Mauricio Gonzalez scored in the 29th minute off a corner kick from senior midfielder David Brassie to give the Tigers a 2-0 lead.
- Junior forward Gavin Culley scored in the 45th minute off an assist from Dake to make it a 3-0 final.
GAME NOTES:
- RIT outshot Houghton, 20-7.
- The Tigers had eight corner kicks to three for the Highlanders
- Sophomore goalie Kristian Dobbek made three saves to pick up his first collegiate win.

RIT returns to action on Saturday (Sept. 6) at Geneva College at 1:00 p.m.
