ROCHESTER, NY – RIT senior defender Daniel Gebura and senior midfielder John Lucas were 2024 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District selections, announced Tuesday.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
A 2022 CSC Academic All-District selection, Gebura held a 3.99 grade-point average in computer engineering technology. A Tri-captain, he is a three-time Liberty League All-Academic selection playing in 18 games in 2024 scoring a pair of goals.
Lucas is a two-time Liberty League All-Academic selection and holds a 3.74 grade-point average in industrial engineering. A tr-captain, Lucas played in 16 games finishing tied for third on the team with four points on a goal and two assists.

- Wrestling places seventh at NYS Collegiate OpenONEONTA, N.Y. –RIT sophomore Josh Lanka (285 lb.) won the Freshman/Sophomore Division and first year Quincy Bonville (197 lb.) placed second in the Freshman/Sophomore Division to lead the Tigers to a seventh-place finish at the NYS Collegiate Championship, Saturday.
