ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT men's and women's swimming & diving teams are set to compete at the NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving National Championships in Greensboro, N.C.
On the men's side, graduate students Drew Scheib and Mike Atanasoff, senior Ben Sippel, junior Ryan Clancy, and sophomore Eric Noga will swim for RIT, with senior Gellert Kish and sophomore Luke Albanese set to compete in both diving events.
Scheib, Atanasoff, and Sippel each qualified for and will represent RIT in several individual events. The trio will also team up with Noga and Clancy in several relays.
For the women's team, sophomores Maddi Williams, Gwen Petrie, and McKenna Porter will compete in the 1m and 3m diving events.
The championships run Wednesday through Saturday (Mar. 19-22) at the Greensboro Aquatic Center with prelims beginning each day at 10 a.m., followed by the finals starting at 6 p.m.
