Women's Swimming & Diving completes first day of Diving Regionals

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – First-year divers Gwen Petrie and Maddi Williams of the RIT women's swimming & diving team, completed the first day of competition at the NCAA Diving Regionals, Friday.

Williams finished third-overall in the 1-meter dive with 440.70, while Petrie placed sixth with a score of 414.20. Ithaca's Kailee Payne (477.50) and Nazareth's Alexa Rizzo (441.65) took the top-two spots in today's competition.

The divers will compete in the 3-meter dive tomorrow at approximately 3:00 p.m.
