ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT sophomore guard Ansley Orrell scores a team-high 19 points as the women's basketball team defeats Clarkson, 65-53, Saturday.

- Junior guard Lila McGuiggin connects from behind the arc, giving RIT an early 3-1 lead
- First-year guard Lauren Sabia makes a driving layup, increasing the Tigers' lead to five with 4:33 left in the first
- Sophomore guard Erin DiPaola banks a jumper as time expires in the first, providing RIT with a 17-9 lead going into the second quarter
- First-year forward Faye Kaplinski makes a layup at 9:04 in the second, putting the Tigers in front 21-9
- Junior guard Kaitlyn Bockelman hits a three point shot midway through the second quarter, giving RIT a 28-15 lead
- Bockelman closes the half with another shot from behind the arc, putting the Tigers ahead 33-23 after two quarters of play
- Orrell connects from behind the arc, giving the Tigers a 45-27 advantage midway through the third
- Orrell sinks another shot from beyond the arc with 31 seconds left in the quarter, giving RIT a 55-33 lead, their largest of the day
- The Tigers take a 55-35 lead at the end of the third
- Clarkson outscores RIT 18-10 in the fourth, while the Tigers earn a 12 point victory
