ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT sophomore midfielder Tate Pottle recorded a career-best three points on a goal and an assist in the Tigers 3-3 tie at No. 7 Rochester, Tuesday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Rochester's Tyler Moran scored in the fifth minute on a one-timer to give the Yellowjackets the lead.
- Ashton Prescott converted a penalty kick in the 13th minute to give Rochester a two-goal cushion.
- Pottle scored on a volley into the high-right corner off an assist from senior forward Randy Dickersbach in the 24th minute to cut the deficit in half.
- Sophomore forward Jake Donahue tied the game in the 82nd minute on a header into the corner off an assist from Dickersbach.
- Senior forward Joshua Price gave the Tigers the lead on his goal in the 85th minute, trapping then turning and firing a shot into the corner for his fourth goal of the season.
- Prescott scored his second of the game in the 88th minute to tie the game at three apiece.
