Women’s Soccer falls to Ithaca, 1-0
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT women's soccer team fell at home to Ithaca, 1-0, Tuesday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The lone goal of the match came in the ninth minute when the Bombers' Sarah Sinnott found the back of the net off a rebounded shot in traffic inside the six-yard box.
- In the 16th minute, junior defender Jillian Antol sent a high-arching shot from the right side that required a fingertip save from Ithaca's goalkeeper.
- The best look RIT had came in the 30th minute when sophomore midfielder Emma Pedro was in open space 25 yard out, sending a shot just slightly over the crossbar.
GAME NOTES
- Ithaca put pressure on the Tiger's backline most of the game with nine corner kicks to RIT's two.
- Junior midfielder Sam Tran led the Tigers with two shots.
- In goal, junior goalkeeper Emily Sanchez made three while taking the loss.

RIT closes out the regular season at home this Saturday (Nov. 2) against Vassar at 2 p.m.
