Men's Lacrosse hosts Ithaca in Liberty League Semifinal

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The top seeded RIT men's lacrosse team hosts No. 5 Ithaca in the Liberty League Tournament Semifinals on Friday (May 2) at 4:00 p.m.

ABOUT RIT

RIT leads the Liberty League, averaging 15.76 goals per game and fourth allowing 8.59 goals per contest.
The Tigers lead the league averaging 38.35 ground balls per game and fifth winning 52.5% of their face-offs.
RIT leads the league converting 46.5% of its man-up chances and is third killing off 76.6% of its penalties.
Senior Clifford Gaston leads RIT and the Liberty League with 72 points averaging a league-best 4.80 points per game. He leads the league with 57 goals averaging 3.80 goals per contest.
Senior Nate Senez is second on the team and third in the league with 64 points. He leads the league with 38 assists averaging 2.24 helpers per game.
Graduate student Ian Dinga is third on the team in scoring with 44 points. He is tied for sixth in the Liberty League with 23 assists.
Junior Ethan Harkins is fourth on the team with 39 points and tied for sixth in the conference with 33 goals. Junior Chase Bruno is fifth on the team with 34 points (21g, 13a).
Junior Alex Zborowski is 16-1 and is third in the league with an 8.10 goals-against average and fifth with a .589 save percentage.
Sophomore Logan Fletcher leads the Tigers with 24 caused turnovers.
Fifth year Allyn French leads RIT winning 58.1% of his face offs and leads the Tigers with 53 ground balls.

ABOUT ITHACA:

Ithaca advanced to the Liberty League Semifinal with a 14-4 win over No. 4 Skidmore, Tuesday. Kyle Proctor led the Bomber with seven points on four goals and three assists. Kyle Savery scored three goals and Andrew Minard made 16 saves in net.
The Bombers enter today 2-3 in their last five games.
Ithaca is fourth in the Liberty League averaging 11.67 goals per game and second allowing 7.95 goals per contest.
The Bombers are seventh averaging 31.89 ground balls per game and seven winning 63.1% of their face offs.
Ithaca is seventh in the league converting 26.3% of its man-up chances and fifth killing off 75.0% of its penalties.
Lucas Proctor leads Ithaca with 49 points on 28 goals and 21 assists. Kyle Proctor is second with 47 points and is fifth in the league with 24 assists.
Savery is third with 37 points (27g, 10a) and Ethan Adrid is fourth with 32 points (15g, 17a)
Minard is second in the Liberty League with an 8.05 goals-against average and sixth with a .577 save percentage.
Ryan Maher leads the team with 16 caused turnovers.
Chris Sohl is third in the league winning 65,4% of his face offs and leads the team with 68 ground balls. Chase Gulick is fourth in the conference winning 64.6% of his draws.

The Tigers beat the Bombers 9-4 on April 9
Zborowski made 12 saves in net for RIT while Minard made 16 stops.
