Women's Tennis wins 6-1 at New Paltz

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The RIT women's tennis team defeated New Paltz 6-1, Saturday.
 
DOUBLES:

• First years Melanie Saborio and Maya McDaniel beat Justine Stanejko and Isabel van der Veen 6-2 at first doubles.
• Graduate student Abby Murray and first year Emily Greb defeated Sydney Sladicka and Angelica Gabriel 6-1 at second doubles.

 
SINGLES:

• McDaniel beat Stenejko 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 at first singles and Greb was a 6-2, 6-1 winner over Sladicka at second singles.
• Saborio defeated van der Veen 2-6, 6-2, 6-2 at third singles and senior Gabby Donohue was a 2-6, 6-2, 7-6 (7-4) winner over Gabriel at fifth singles.
• Junior Anika Galkiewicz defeated Alyssa Trokie 6-7 (3-7), 6-4, 13-11 at sixth singles.
