Actors are wanted for films created by RIT School of Film and Animation students! The school is holding open call auditions for films that will be shooting during the spring 2026 semester. All levels of experience are welcome (18 years and older). 

Volunteer with the Friends of Washington Grove as we work to remove invasive species and perform basic trail maintenance in Rochester's old growth forest! You will be given the opportunity to tour the area with a guide before trail maintenance begins.

This year marks the 80th anniversary of the publication of former City Historian Blake McKelvey’s landmark work, Rochester: The Water-Power City, 1812-1854, the first book in what would be a four-volume exploration of Rochester’s journey from settlement to technological powerhouse. Through his research and writing, McKelvey helped to define the field of urban history in the United States, as well as the role of a city historian.

Science and Deaf Culture collide on this very special day!  There will be science experiments, shocking displays in the Electric Theater, star shows, and so much more!  Don't miss out!

All RIT staff, faculty, and students are welcome to join weekly open figure drawing sessions throughout the fall semester. Practice and refine your human drawing skills during sessions set for 11 a.m.-2 p.m. most Saturdays this semester in Booth Hall, 2480.
