Erev Shabbat on Friday night, marking the beginning of the Jewish rest day. We come together to worship and enjoy community through food, either dinner or sweets, building community. University Council (UC) brings together representatives from the three governance groups of the university: Faculty Senate, Staff Council and Student Government.  The president, provost, vice presidents, and deans are also represented on the Council, which addresses university-level policies and facilitates communication among the constituents of the university. UC develops and reviews institutional priorities and acts as a forum through which current or continuing issues of higher education can be discussed. Meetings are held monthly and are attended by members of all 3 governance groups, deans, and administrators. RIT students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend. Interpreters provided. Join the Newman Catholic Community at RIT for Eucharistic adoration before the 5:30 p.m. Wednesday Mass in Allen Chapel. Adoration is a great way to take a break from the busy life of college and to sit in His presence.

The training is best for faculty positions and Assistant Director or higher staff positions. If hiring for entry level positions, you can complete the LinkedIn Unconscious Bias in Recruiting and Interviewing training.
