RIT's Fine Art Photography Lecture Series presents Meggan Gould, whose multi-faceted practice incorporates elements of photography, writing, drawing, sculpture, and installation. Her talk is set for 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, in Golisano Hall Auditorium (room 1400).

The exhibition Crafting Democracy: Fiber Arts and Activism debuted in Rochester, New York – home to Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglass – along with an eponymous catalogue (RIT Press, 2019). Works by the 30 artists explored how handwork probes the vulnerabilities of citizenship status, while also working toward positive social change. Over the following two years, the exhibit traveled to four additional venues in the Northeast U.S., realizing opportunities for community, conversation, and critique.

For more than five decades, Bill and Jean Stephens have been partners in life and in Art. Their artwork and artistic processes have continued to evolve and expand. The style of Jean and Bills’ work differs widely, yet the work is highly influenced by the natural world around them. They met in the RIT Printmaking Studio in 1972, and both later earned their degrees in the RIT MST Arts Education Program. Continuum is their first exhibition together.

We invite you to the reception for the exhibition Co-Crafting Democracy: Fiber Arts and Activism now entering its third show concept, at University Gallery on the RIT campus. The exhibit is curated by Juilee Decker and Hinda Mandell.

The Global Public Health Association (GPHA) at RIT is thrilled to announce its upcoming Jeopardy Game Night and Social Event!  Mark your calendars for Thursday, November 14th from 6pm - 7:30pm in GOL 1400 (Golisano Hall room 1400) for an evening of fun and competition.  This Jeopardy game will spotlight various awareness months, providing a unique opportunity to expand your knowledge on critical topics while connecting with fellow students.  Prizes will be awarded, and refreshments will be served.  Due to limited space, please RSVP as soon as possible to secure your spot and ensure we have enough refreshments and materials for everyone.

Join us for a few lightning-fast rounds of Humans vs. Zombies. HvZ is a game of Zombie Tag, with a twist! In HvZ, Humans can defend themselves using Nerf blasters and balled-up socks. Rounds will be between 10-30 minutes, and multiple rounds will be run throughout the night.
