Welcome to CHIPR (Cultural Heritage Imaging Preservation and Research), where RIT students and faculty come together to share their research, new ideas, and encourage one another in interdisciplinary cultural heritage research. Want to just share what's going on in your department or program regarding cultural heritage research and projects? This is the community to build that in Brick City. Join us! We begin our series on Friday, September 6, 2024. We meet every other Friday from September 6 through November 15, 2024 in either the Liberal Arts Building room1251 (McKenzie Commons)-- or Carlson room 2240. Bring your coffee mug (or whatever you drink!) and join us.

Event Info: A meeting with Rachel Synder of Measures for Justice, who holds a B.A. in History, will discuss her career trajectory and how she uses her liberal arts foundation in her work at Rochester-area non-profits.

This semi-structured group invites men of color (MOC) to explore personal development as an adjunct to their academic pursuits. Students will explore personal and cultural history, evaluate and restructure belief systems, and pursue personal power. This is a safe space where students are welcomed and encouraged to explore issues of race, ethnicity, gender, and cultural trauma.
