Men's Track & Field Ready for Liberty League Indoor Championships
CANTON, N.Y. – The RIT Men's Track & Field team is set to compete at the 2024 Liberty League Indoor Championships at St. Lawrence's Merrick-Pinkard Track & Field Complex, Friday and Saturday.
- Sophomore Dean Bartels is the top seed in the shot put (14.57m).
- Sophomore Erik Stephany is ranked second in the weight throw (16.70m) followed by senior Aidan Hughes in third (16.50m).
- Junior Max Stein is ranked second in the 400 (50.52), followed by sophomore MIchael Sardo in fourth (50.69) and first-year Jack DeFeo in fifth (50.88).
- First-year Trent Gobble is seeded second in the triple jump (13.58m).
- First-year Jacen Mitchell (8.69) and sophomore Eric Antonecchia (8.93) are seeded third and fifth in the 60 hurdles, respectively.
- First-year Erich Brown is ranked third in the high jump (1.92m).
The Tigers tied for third at last year's championship.
