PITTSBURGH – The RIT men's rowing team competed at the Head of the Ohio, Saturday.
The Men's Open 2- boat duo of Nicolas Langdon and Parker Kinsman finished second with a time of 15:30.507, which was 11 seconds behind the winning boat from Case Western Reserve. Nick Ricotta and Alex Nenadic placed third in the event with a time of 15:50.453.
In the Men's 4+ race, the team of Emmet Christiansen, Tommy Moore, Tyler Emerson, Jack Weitekamp, and coxswain Jacob Marrer rowed to a fourth place finish with a time of 14:26.063. David Griffith, Shane Guasteferro, Gerald Porretta, Nick Staley, coxswain Jackson Blazek placed 11th (15:27.217).
Tom Kirkham and Cooper Fleishman took fourth in the Men's 2x race at 16:10.760, seven seconds faster than teammates Gideon DeMarco and Alex Nenadic who finished fifth (16:17.228).

RIT will compete in the 35th Head of the Genesee next Saturday (Oct. 12).
