Men's Basketball loses 66-46 at RPI

TROY, N.Y. – RIT junior forward Kenny Wilburn scored 12 points in the Tigers 66-46 loss at RPI, Friday.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Senior forward Kevin Ryan scored early in the first half to give the Tigers an 8-2 lead.
  • Senior guard Keegan Ocorr drained a three-pointer with 13:50 to play to extend the RIT ead to 13-4.
  • Ryan scored off an assist from sophomore guard Chase Dickens to with 12:59 remaining to extend the RIT lead to 15-6.
  • RPI's Dylan Matchett scored with nine minutes remaining to cut the RIT lead to 18-12.
  • Will Rubin hit a three-pointer with 4:42 to play to cut the RIT lead to 21-20, and tied the score at 23-23 on his three-pointer with 2:29 to play in the opening half.
  •  Dom Black scored inside to give the Engineers the lead.
  • Avery Eugster scored in the closing seconds of the first half to give RPI a 27-23 lead.
  • RPI outscored RIT 39-23 in the second half to win 66-46.
