Hockey teams to participate in local fundraiser, including 3v3 exhibition
ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The RIT men's and women's hockey teams, in conjunction with DICK'S House of Sport, will participate in a community event this Friday, Dec. 15, to benefit Hockey Buddies, a nonprofit organization supporting youth participation in the sport.
The event will include 3-on-3 games between members of the teams as well as an opportunity to skate with the Tigers.
Hockey Buddies will also be collecting gently-used hockey equipment on-site where a silent auction raffle will follow.
