GCCIS Guest Speaker: Director of Rochester Community Hygiene Bank Scarlett Aeckerle

- DescriptionScarlett Aeckerle has been a pillar in advocacy social work in the Greater Rochester region for decades. She obtained a B.S. in Social Work from RIT, an MS in Social Work from Syracuse University, and a PhD in Higher Administration from the University of South Carolina. She began her college teaching career here at RIT, then moved to be an adjunct faculty member in Roberts Wesleyan College’s Social Work Department. She also taught at Keuka College for over a decade. Now, she works as the Director of the Rochester Community Hygiene Bank and as an Outpatient Social Worker at Rochester Regional Health. Her talk will be on “Hygiene Poverty: A Growing Public Health Concern.”
