ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT men's cross country team placed third out of 17 scoring teams at the 2025 Harry F. Anderson Invitational hosted by Roberts Wesleyan, Saturday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Senior Derick Koen led the Tigers with a 15th-place finish, clocking in at 25:33.3.
- Junior Jackson Burger followed closely in 16th place with a time of 25:34.1.
- Senior Evan Owens placed 22nd in 25:45.3 as sophomore Matthew Califf finished 24th in 25:51.0.
- Junior Sebastian Montalvo rounded out RIT's scoring five with a 27th-place finish in 26:02.2.
- RIT scored 104 points with Geneseo winning the race with 28 points. Findlay (Ohio) was second overall with 44 points as the Tigers edged the hosts by a single point.

The Tigers are off until Saturday, Oct. 11, when the team competes at Houghton's Highlander Invitational.
