Men's Swimming and Diving competes against Geneseo and Rochester
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT men's swimming and diving competed against Geneseo and Rochester, Saturday.
Head-to-head, RIT defeated Geneseo, 178-121, and also beat Rochester, 234-64. The Tigers finished first in 10 events. Graduate student Theo Heilman and junior Ben Sippel won two events each. Heilman took first in the 1,000 freestyle (10:05.13) and also won the 500 freestyle (4:53.25). Sippel placed first in the 100 breaststroke (58.01) and the 200 breaststroke (2:08.99).The 200 medley relay team of senior Drew Scheib, Sippel, junior Jake Sapp and senior Mike Atanasoff earned first place. Sapp, junior Kai Louie, Atanasoff and Scheib were on the winning 400 medley relay team as well.
