ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT first-year midfielder Adam Eastman scored his first collegiate goal to help the Tigers to a 3-1 win over Geneseo, Friday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Senior forward Randy Dickersbach scored in the 25th minute off an assist from sophomore midfielder Tate Pottle to give the Tigers the lead. Pottle sent a ball into Dickersbach who scored into the corner for his third goal of the season.
- Liam Mulderig tied the game on his goal from 25-yards out in the 36th minute.
- Eastman scored in the 62nd minute off a feed from Pottle. Senior midfielder Joe Moon fed Pottle, and he fed Eastman who scored on a volley into the corner.
- Senior forward Joshua Price intercepted a pass, drove in and scored in the 80th minute to make it a 3-1 final
GAME NOTES
- RIT outshot Geneseo, 12-9, including seven shots on target.
- Junior goalie Jason Trapp made three saves in net to earn the victory
- The win for the Tigers is their first over Geneseo since 2001.
