ALFRED, N.Y. – The RIT women's swimming and diving team earned a dominant 197-99 victory over Alfred in a dual-meet, Friday.
First-year swimmer Laina Swartzwelder and junior diver Gwen Petrie led the Tigers with multiple event wins, helping RIT control the meet from start to finish.
Swartzwelder won both the 200 Yard Freestyle (2:02.40) and the 100 Yard Freestyle (54.68), and anchored the winning 200 Yard Freestyle Relay (1:42.78).
On the boards, Petrie swept both diving events, scoring 253.35 in the 1M event and 240.00 in the 3M.
