Women’s Cross Country finishes third at Harry F. Anderson Invite

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT women's cross country team placed third out of 15 teams at the 2025 Harry F. Anderson Invitational hosted by Roberts Wesleyan, Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Kathryn Arbegast, a junior, led the Tigers with a second-place finish, clocking in at 18:15.0.
  • Junior Therese Georgia followed in ninth place with a time of 18:52.9.
  • First-year runner Juliana Cavanaugh placed 21st in 19:22.0.
  • Junior Rachael Ladd finished 39th in 19:54.6 with senior Abigail Thomas rounding out RIT's top five with a 42nd-place finish in 20:04.3.
  • The Tigers scored 113 points to finish third overall as Geneseo took first place with 41 points. Roberts Wesleyan placed second, scoring 68 points.

 
WHAT'S NEXT
The Tigers are off until Saturday, Oct. 11, when the team competes at Houghton's Highlander Invitational.
