ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT senior Michael DeFranco and junior Alex Nenadic were recently named to the Liberty League Men's Rowing all-conference team.
DeFranco landed first-team honors while Nenadic garnered second-team recognition.
The duo was a part of a varsity 8 boat that finished third at the Liberty League Championships earlier this month. Nenadic was also part of the Tigers' Varsity 8+ that finished fourth at the Dad Vail Regatta (May 11).
Nenadic and DeFranco will join fifth-year Ben Baker, sophomore Luka Lasic and junior coxswain Jacob Marrer to compete at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) National Collegiate Championships this Friday and Saturday (May 31-June 1) at Mercer Lake in West Windsor, N.J.
