ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT junior swimmer Anna Peshenko, senior swimmer Drew Scheib, junior diver Gellert Kish along with first-year divers Luke Albanese and Maddi Williams, will compete at the NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships, March 20-23 in Greensboro, N.C.
Peshenko will compete in the NCAA's for the third-straight year. She qualified for the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:18.70. Pehsenko will also compete in the 200 individual medley and the 100 breaststroke. Scheib will compete in the 200 butterfly for the second-straight year. He qualified with a Liberty League record time of 1:47.82 at the league championships. Scheib will also partake in 100 butterfly and the 100 freestyle.
Kish, Albanese and Williams will make their first NCAA Championships appearances. Kish qualified based on his fourth place finish in the 1-meter dive at the NCAA Diving Regionals, scoring 458.90 points, while Albanese qualified after finishing third in the 3-meter dive with a score of 491.80 points. On the women's side, Williams earned a third-place qualifying score of 440.70 in the 1-meter dive.
