LEWISBURG, P.A. – The RIT women's track & field competed at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic, Saturday and Sunday.
Highlights:
- Sophomore Sadie Rose lowered her own program record placing fourth in the 400, clocking a time of 55.44
- Graduate student Amelia Gilbert finished fourth in the 3,000 (10:25.45), followed by junior Sierra Danieu in sixth (10:29.95). Both times beat the previous program-record.
- Sophomore Abby Nautel placed sixth in the 800, clocking a time of 2:24.52
- Junior Emily DiMarco finished 17th in the discus throw with a distance of 38.88m, followed by first-year Bailee Drummond in 23rd (37.52m)
- Sophomore Marinna Heichberger placed 21st in the shot put with a distance of 11.98m
- Danieu finished 22nd in the 1,500, finishing in 4:51.29
The Tigers host the RIT Invitational Saturday (Apr. 20) with events beginning at 10:00 a.m.
