Women’s Track & Field finishes 10th place at AARTF Championships

ITHACA, N.Y. – The RIT Women's Track & Field team tied for 10th place out of 55 teams at the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Indoor Championships, Saturday.
 
SATURDAY HIGHLIGHTS

• Junior Rania Sabri placed fourth in the triple jump with a 11.36m mark. 
• Senior Caroline Hill took 17th in the 200 with a time of 26.05 seconds.
• Emily DiMarco placed 16th in the weight throw with a mark of 14.60m on the first attempt.

 
FRIDAY HIGHLIGHTS

• DiMarco finished fifth in the shot put with a distance of 12.51m. Junior Marinna Heichberger placed ninth in the event with a throw of 12.08m.
• Sprinter Rachel Kulp ran the 60 in 7.92 seconds to take 12th place.
• The 4x400 relay team of Samantha Crisci, Jorja DeCarlo, Justine Draper, and Caroline Hill placed ninth with a season-best 4:04.92.
