Women's Tennis shuts out Nazareth, 7-0
ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The RIT women's tennis team shut out Nazareth 7-0 in non-conference action, Wednesday.
DOUBLES:
- Sophomore Kira Kronenberg and first year Emily Greb defeated Catherine Zak and Kenna Ellis, 6-0 at first doubles.
- First years Maya McDaniel and Melanie Saborio were 6-1 winners over Ali Klee and Sarah Stone at second doubles.
- Graduate student Abby Murray and senior Gabby Donohue beat Paige Masrouri and Victoria Cioni, 6-4 in third doubles to complete the doubles sweep for the Tigers.
SINGLES:
- McDaniel was a 6-1, 6-2 winner over Zak in first singles and Greb defeated Ellis 6-0, 6-0 at second singles.
- Saborio was a 6-0, 6-2 winner over Stone at third singles, while Murray was a 7-5, 6-0 winner over Cioni at fourth singles.
- Donohue beat Klee 7-5, 6-2 at fifth singles and junior Abby Finchum was a 6-4, 6-4 winner over Isabelle Iannitti at sixth singles.
