Two Tigers land Liberty League weekly honors
ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Two RIT student-athletes were honored by the Liberty League with weekly accolades, announced Monday. Sophomore Serafina Kiselgof was the Women's Lacrosse Offensive Performer of the Week, while first-year Kira Kronenberg was the Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week.
Kiselgof led RIT with 14 points on 11 goals and three assists to help the Tigers to a 1-1 record, last week. The sophomore attack tallied a career-high nine points on a career-best six goals and three assists in Wednesday's 20-19 OT loss at Rochester. Kiselgof scored five goals to help lead the Tigers to an 11-8 win over Clarkson, Saturday.
Kronenberg recorded a 3-0 record in singles and a 2-1 record in doubles for RIT, last week. Kronenberg defeated Ithaca's Taylor Crain, 6-3, 6-0 at first singles, Wednesday. She defeated RPI's Lorna Flores Gonzalez, 6-1, 6-3, Saturday and took down Vassar's Erin McCusker, 6-3, 6-2, Sunday. Kronenberg teamed up with first-year Maya Clinard to defeat Ithaca's Cain and Lauren Rodrigez, 9-7 and RPI's Krisia and Lorna Flores Gonzalez, Saturday.
