ROCHESTER, N.Y. - RIT first year forward Kailey Favro was named the Atlantic Hockey America Rookie of the Week announced by the league on Monday.
Favro scored two goals to lead RIT to a 5-1 win over Robert Morris, Saturday. She scored her first collegiate goal midway through the second period to give the Tigers a 1-0 lead and her goal 3:53 into the third period proved to be the game-winner. Favro won 10-of16 draws in Saturday's win over the Colonials.
RIT returns to action on Friday (Nov. 15) at Syracuse at 6:00 p.m.
