ITHACA, N.Y. – The RIT men's track & field relay team finished in 11th place at the All-Atlantic Regional Track & Field Championships, Saturday.
SATURDAY HIGHLIGHTS
- First-year John Elliot set a program record with a 1:54.00 clocking in the 800 to place fourth as Noah Flanders recorded a personal-best time of 1:54.19 to finish fifth.
- In the 400, Jack DeFeo ran to a seventh-place finish with a time of 49.37 seconds.
- Josh Auler earned ninth place in the weight throw with a distance of 16.18m.
- Sophomore Erich Brown cleared 1.88m to tie for 10th place in the high jump.
- Junior Derick Koen ran to a 14th place finish in the 3,000, clocking in at 8:48.44.
FRIDAY HIGHLIGHTS
- In the 4x400m relay, RIT's John Elliot, Max Stein, Noah Flanders, and Jack DeFeo placed third with a time of 3:17.85, which is the second-fastest time in program history.
- The Distance Medley relay placed seventh with a combined time of 10:28.63.
- Sophomore Ryan Swenson tied for sixth in the pole vault with a height of 4.46m.
