ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Junior Kathryn Arbegast finished third out of 253 runners to guide the RIT women's cross country team to fourth place at Rochester's Yellowjacket Invitational that was held at Genesee Valley Park, Saturday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Arbegast crossed the finish line with a time of 22:13.2 as fellow junior Therese Georgia took eighth place with a 22:43.2 clocking.
- Junior Rachael Ladd finished 38th for RIT with a time of 23:48.2 as first-year Juliana Cavanaugh in 41st (23:53.3).
- Senior Jade Kimmel rounded out the scoring five for the Tigers in 52nd place with a time of 24:17.5.
- RIT scored 142 points to finish behind Geneseo (39), Ithaca (115), and Rochester (140).
WHAT'S NEXT
The Tigers are scheduled to run in Roberts Wesleyan's Harry F. Anderson Invitational this coming Saturday, Sept. 27.
