ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT men's soccer team opens the 2025 campaign on Friday (Aug. 29) at Brockport. Here are the top six things you need to know about the Tigers heading into the season.
MEET THE CAPTAINS
Seniors David Brassie and Gabriel Zaninetti, graduate student Chris Lee and junior Mauricio Gonzalez will serve as co-captains in 2025.
"David, Mauricio, Chris and Gabriel complement each other as leaders on the field, in the locker room, and importantly as positive ambassadors in the RIT community," said RIT head coach Bill Garno. "They are positive role models for our young players. All are fantastic student-athletes: David's role on the executive board of RIT's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and Chris joining SAAC demonstrates the value and gratitude our team has as members of the RIT community."
