Waite named to Liberty League All-Conference Team
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Senior guard Emma Waite of the RIT women's basketball team was named to the 2023-24 All-Liberty League Second Team, announced Tuesday.
Waite appeared in all 26 games, starting 24 of those contests. The Pittsburgh, PA native was the team's leading scorer averaging 12.4 points per game and was ninth in the league for total points scored with 323. On Feb. 17, Waite set the single-game scoring record, having 40 points against Bard.
Waite also led the team in minutes played (827), field goals made (128), free throws made (43), rebounds (123), steals (38) and had a league-best 111 assists.
